Summary

Site Manager – Office Refurbishment

Thorn Baker Group are currently working with a well-established construction company who are looking for an experienced Site Manager to oversee a live technical office refurbishment project.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable contractor delivering high-quality commercial refurbishment works within a fast-paced live environment.

The Role

As Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the project, ensuring works are completed safely, on time, and to the highest standard while maintaining minimal disruption to the live office environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing subcontractors and site labour
  
• Overseeing health & safety on site
  
• Coordinating works within a live occupied building
  
• Ensuring programme deadlines are achieved
  
• Conducting site inspections and progress meetings
  
• Liaising with clients, consultants, and project teams
  
• Maintaining quality control throughout the project
  Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Site Manager on commercial refurbishment projects
    
  • Experience working in live environments is essential
    
  • SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications
    
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
    
  • Ability to manage multiple trades and tight deadlines
