We are looking for an organised, proactive, and compassionate Rota Manager to join our growing team.
The Role
As a Rota Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring our care services run smoothly by coordinating staff schedules and maintaining effective communication between carers, clients, and management.
You will be responsible for creating efficient rotas that ensure continuity of care, support our care staff, and maintain excellent service delivery standards.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Managing and overseeing staff rotas to ensure safe and effective care delivery
• Allocating staff based on skills, availability, and client needs
• Handling last-minute changes, sickness, and emergency cover
• Monitoring Home Office hours and staffing compliance
• Ensuring staff meet all compliance requirements (training, DBS, right to work)
• Maintaining accurate records and compliance systems
• Supporting audits, inspections, and quality assurance processes
• Promoting high standards of confidentiality, dignity, and safeguarding
• Add competencies for each staff to ensure they are trained for the package they attend
• Managing on-call and on-call support weekend cover.
Requirements
• Previous experience in rota coordination or scheduling within the care sector
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills
• Ability to work under pressure and solve problems quickly
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Good IT skills and experience using rota/scheduling systems
• Understanding of domiciliary care operations is desirable
• Knowledge of Home Office compliance processes is advantageous
• A positive attitude and commitment to high-quality care
