diving. We have 115 people. Analox operates from a purpose built 15,000 sq ft factory and offices in Stokesley Business Park,
North Yorkshire, and from a remotely based sales and sales support team as well as a distribution centre in Houston, Texas

Overall Purpose of the Role
To provide mechanical design to NPI and legacy projects and products using the Analox design and development processes.
Main Responsibilities
* Responsible for mechanical design following the Analox design and development processes, guidelines and procedures.
* Responsible for pneumatic design following the Analox design and development processes, guidelines and procedures.
* Create and manage technical documentation such as drawings, bills of materials, technical descriptions etc.
* Develop, test and iterate prototype components and products.
* Review the work of engineering peers
* Use technical expertise to contribute to project work.
* Write and/or perform verification and validation tests.
* Keep up to date in their relevant field - industry standards and guidelines.

of changing circumstances and after consultation with the post holder.
All staff are expected to actively participate in annual reviews and set objectives/goals in conjunction with their manager.
Performance will be monitored against set objectives/goals.

Education/Qualifications:
Essential
Educated to degree level in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum 2:1
Desirable
Masters in Mechanical Engineering
Skills/Experience:
Essential
Use of 3D CAD design software
Basic knowledge of tolerance management and evaluation including GD&T
Basic understanding of manufacturing and machining processes - their capabilities, limitations and tolerances etc.
Strong mechanical aptitude
Demonstration of a university project or work placement project
Desirable
Proficient use of Solidworks
Knowledge of basic pneumatic principles
Knowledge of Design for manufacture and assembly
Knowledge of quality/continuous improvement
1 year (Industry placement)
Personal Attributes:
Essential
Attention to detail
Strong organisational and time management skills
Ability to work well independently or as part of a team
Highly initiative
Clear communicator in the various formats
