About the Role

We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Management Accountant to join our Finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working collaboratively, thrives in a fast-paced commercial environment, and wants to build a career in finance.

In this role, you’ll support the Senior Management Accountant, the IT & Transformation team, and the wider business, helping deliver accurate financial reporting, insightful analysis, and strong budgetary control.

What You’ll Be Doing


Supporting month-end close processes, including:

Accruals, prepayments, and adjustments
Accurate posting of revenue and costs


Performing P&L variance analysis and investigating key drivers
Preparing balance sheet reconciliations and resolving discrepancies
Assisting with budgets, forecasts, and re-forecasts
Producing insightful financial analysis to support decision-making
Responding to financial queries from business stakeholders
Supporting reporting for IT costs, including REVEX overheads and Capex
Identifying improvements to reporting accuracy and efficiency
Building strong working relationships across Finance, IT, Commercial teams, and external stakeholders
Delivering ad hoc analysis and reporting as required

Skills & Experience


Strong Excel skills (essential)
Studying towards (or keen to start) AAT, CIMA, or ACCA (a study package will be included in the role)
Knowledge of accounting systems and financial processes
Experience with reporting tools (e.g. Essbase) is advantageous
Highly numerate with strong analytical ability
