Paragon Education is recruiting a caring and experienced SEN Primary Teacher to join a supportive and inclusive school in Worcester. The school is dedicated to providing personalized education for pupils with additional needs, ensuring every child receives the encouragement and structure needed to thrive.
You will be teaching a small class of primary-aged pupils with a range of special educational needs, focusing on both academic progress and personal development. The school promotes a collaborative approach, with experienced support staff and leadership committed to creating a positive learning environment.
What the role involves:
Planning and delivering tailored lessons to meet individual learning needs
Adapting teaching strategies to support a variety of SEN requirements
Working closely with teaching assistants and SEN staff
Supporting pupils’ communication, emotional wellbeing, and social development
Implementing EHCP targets and monitoring pupil progress
Creating a calm, engaging, and structured classroom environment
What you’ll need:
QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
Experience working with SEN pupils within a primary setting
Strong understanding of differentiated and inclusive teaching practices
A patient, nurturing, and resilient approach
Effective behaviour management and communication skills
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
