Summary
We are looking for calm, caring and reliable PA to help support an individual with Alzheimer’s in the home. The role would involve some personal care, ensuring the individual is eating, drinking fluids and also keeping the individual company and be there as someone to have a conversation with.
This role would include helping the individual to get ready in the morning, this might include helping them to shower, helping them brush their teeth and help them with breakfast. There would also be a visit around lunchtime, and this may involve some personal care and will involve preparing lunch for the individual. There would also be a visit in the evening, and this is more like a companion visit.
PA who has experience with Dementia and Alzheimer’s or is willing to learn about Dementia and Alzheimer's is essential.
PA who is sociable and understanding.
PA, who is first aid, trained would be ideal.
This role would be for a 0-hour contract for a PA who could cover the sickness and holidays of a PA with a potential for more hours.
