Location: Hawarden Industrial Park

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Hours: Monday–Friday, 07:30 – 16:00]

Salary: Competitive

About the Role:
We are a busy, fast-paced spraying specialist looking for a reliable and proactive Factory Operative to join our production team. You will play a key role in the preparation stage – masking and cleaning frames and products to the highest standard before they move into our professional spray booths. This is hands-on bench and shop-floor work in a lively, target-driven environment where efficiency, accuracy and the ability to think on your feet are essential.

Key Responsibilities
• Accurately masking uPVC window and door frames using tapes, films and plugs to protect areas not being sprayed
• Thorough cleaning and preparation of frames (removing dust, grease, silicone and manufacturing residues)
• Working at benches and on the shop floor to prepare multiple frames to tight daily targets
• Inspecting frames for quality and reporting any defects or damage
• Maintaining a clean and organised workstation in a busy production area
• Following health & safety procedures at all times, especially when working with solvents and at pace
• Supporting the wider team during busy periods and helping with other production tasks when required

Person Specification – Essential
• Must have full driving licence
• Previous bench work or tool work experience (e.g. assembly, fabrication, joinery, maintenance, or similar hands-on roles)
• Ability to think on the move and adapt quickly in a fast-paced, busy shop-floor environment
• Good manual dexterity and attention to detail
• Reliable, punctual and able to maintain consistent quality under pressure
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Basic understanding of health & safety in a factory setting

Desirable
• Experience in window/door manufacturing, painting, spraying or masking

What We Offer
• Competitive hourly rate / weekly pay
• Permanent contract with opportunities for overtime
• On-the-job training and development
• Friendly, supportive team in a growing company

If you’re someone who enjoys practical work, can keep up with a busy production line, and takes pride in doing a job properly first time, we’d love to hear from you.
