Are you an experienced Bodyshop Technician or Paint Sprayer looking to advance your career within a leading automotive retailer? Our client, a nationally recognised automotive vehicle retailer, is seeking a skilled Bodyshop Technician / Paint Sprayer to join their busy service team in Newcastle. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a modern, state-of-the-art bodyshop environment, offering competitive pay, ongoing training, and clear career progression.

Benefits:

- Basic salary up to £38,000, with OTE approximately £45,000 (uncapped earning potential)
- Working hours Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm, with a half-hour lunch break
- Alternating Saturdays as part of a rota, with time off in lieu

Duties:

- Repairing vehicles in accordance with manufacturer standards and repair procedures
- Carrying out cosmetic repairs, including painting and refurbishments, to high-quality standards
- Performing vehicle health checks utilizing the latest technology
- Conducting warranty repairs following manufacturer guidelines
- Conducting road tests to ensure all faults are rectified effectively
- Preparing and completing all necessary documentation accurately and efficiently
- Assisting in vehicle diagnostics and minor mechanical repairs when required

Requirements of a Bodyshop Technician:

- Experience as a Bodyshop Technician or Paint Sprayer, with involvement in accident or cosmetic repairs
- Relevant qualifications, or proof of competency in vehicle body repairs and painting
- Good understanding of manufacturer procedures and quality standards
- Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
- Excellent organisational skills and a positive attitude towards training and development
