Take charge of the departments clinical area (s) as required in the absence of a more senior member of staff.2. The post holder will be expected to recognise appropriate skill mix, staffing levels and staff competency, in order to sustain the defined clinical areas.3. Maintain effective and efficient communication with the Band 7 Occupational Health Nurse Advisor and other members of the multidisciplinary team, on issues relating to the department e.g. progress and difficulties to be addressed.4. Act in accordance with the legal requirements and statutory rules, relating to practice and all Trust policies and procedures.5. Liaise with other Occupational Health departments/communityservices/agencies.6. Participate with regular audit undertaken in the Occupational Health department and present results of audits carried out.7. Comply with the departmental arrangements and the Trust's policy on ordering, storage, checking, recording and administration of medicines.8. Participate in the Occupational Health departmental (nursing and administrative) meetings and represent the Occupational Health service at meetings, as and when required.
