Summary
Apex Resources Ltd are currently looking for a reliable and motivated Warehouse Operative to join busy logistics team based at Kinning Park. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of warehouse functions, ensuring the smooth and efficient handling of goods. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within a dynamic environment, supporting the storage, movement, and distribution of products.
Qualities we’re looking for –
Physically fit and able to lift and move items both on the floor and on shelves
Strong health and safety conscience
There’s also the potential for the role to include operating a forklift if they become a permanent member of the team
Basic maths skills are important
Ability to answer phone calls and respond to emails efficiently (Occasional)
Daily responsibilities for this role involve:
selecting customer orders and ensuring they are properly prepared for either van delivery or courier pickup
Regularly checking and maintaining accurate stock levels
Prepare orders for customers collecting directly at the trade desk
Checking and counting incoming stock items to keep inventory records up to date
Occasionally, may be asked to answer office phone calls or respond to emails, passing relevant information along to the office staff for further processing.
Maintaining tidy, clean warehouse and workspace
Hours of work are Monday to Friday 8am-5pm Paid at £13.50 per hour
