Your new opportunity

We’re looking for a dedicated Administrator to join our Corporate Administration team at Quarriers’ Head Office, based at the William Quarrier Scottish Epilepsy Centre (WQSEC). This is a full‑time, permanent role where you’ll play a key part in keeping our HQ running smoothly and supporting teams delivering vital services across the organisation.

About the role

This is a varied and hands‑on position, providing comprehensive administrative and reception support within a welcoming and professional head office environment. You’ll be a central point of contact for visitors, colleagues and external partners, helping ensure everything runs efficiently day to day.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering high‑quality administrative and reception support across the office
  • Welcoming visitors to Head Office and ensuring a positive first impression of Quarriers
  • Managing reception cover, mail, records and office systems
  • Supporting financial administration including petty cash, expenditure records and authorised coding
  • Preparing and submitting regular reports and returns (e.g. staff data, absence, KPIs, occupancy)
  • Supporting meetings, including minute‑taking when required
  • Providing administrative support to departments such as property and aftercare teams
  • Assisting with Subject Access Requests and similar information requests
  • Contributing to the smooth day‑to‑day running of office spaces, systems and processes

What we’re looking for

You’ll be someone who enjoys working independently but collaboratively, with strong organisational skills and a calm, professional approach.

We’re looking for:

  • Proven administrative experience (or relevant qualification/training)
  • Confidence using office systems and managing information accurately
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and a problem‑solving mindset
  • A welcoming, professional manner when working with visitors and colleagues

Why join Quarriers?

At Quarriers, our people are at the heart of everything we do. Based at the William Quarrier Scottish Epilepsy Centre (WQSEC), you’ll be part of a supportive, values‑led organisation where care, respect and integrity guide our work and people truly matter.
