Prospero Teaching is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join a specialist SEN primary school in the BS40 area. The school supports children with SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) needs, providing a nurturing environment where students can explore, learn, and grow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, practical, and differentiated Science lessons that meet the needs of students with SEMH challenges.
- Support the social, emotional, and behavioural development of students, fostering curiosity and confidence in learning.
- Collaborate with teaching staff and support staff to create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
- Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching strategies to ensure all students achieve their potential.
Requirements:
- Qualified teacher with experience teaching Science.
- Experience working with SEN students, particularly those with SEMH needs, is highly desirable.
- Strong classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Passionate about inspiring young learners and making a tangible difference in their education.
