We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative/Van Driver to join our team at our Nottingham Branch. This is an exciting
opportunity to become part of a hardworking and friendly team, supporting the smooth running of day-to-day warehouse operations.
Key responsibilities
* Support general day-to-day warehouse operations
* Preparing customer orders for delivery
* Managing stock inventory and performing stock checks
* Ensure the loading and unloading of the vehicle to ensure it is conducted correctly and safely.
* Maintaining a clean and safe working environment in line with health and safety guidelines
* Keep the vehicle clean, well-maintained, and free from preventable damage.
* Report any accidents or incidents immediately, following company procedures
* Play a key part of the team covering driver holidays and annual leave (HGC Class 2 licence required
Key skills
* Valid forklift licence (essential – counterbalance or reach)
* Valid commercial driving licence (C) with a clean driving record
* Ability to carry out manual handling duties
* Good understanding of Health and Safety regulations
* Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
* Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
* Previous warehouse experience is an advantage
