Our client, a renowned educational institution in the heart of Leicester, Leicestershire, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Full-time SEN Teacher to join their dynamic team. As a Full-time SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment that caters to the unique needs of each student. - Develop and implement individualised education plans that cater to the unique needs of each student
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including therapists, support staff, and parents, to ensure a holistic approach to student development
- Create engaging and dynamic lesson plans that utilise a variety of teaching methodologies and assistive technologies
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed to support their academic, social, and emotional growth
- Maintain detailed records and documentation to track student progress and communicate with parents and other stakeholders
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date with the latest teaching practices and educational policies
- Relevant teaching qualification (e.g. , PGCE, QTS)
- Minimum of 2 years' experience working with students with special educational needs
- Strong understanding of the latest teaching methodologies and a commitment to delivering evidence-based practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
- Demonstrated ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students
