A Vacancy at Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.
Applications are invited from exceptional medical staff for the post of Clinical Research Fellow (CT1-2) - (Interventional Radiology) based at either Castle Hill Hospital or Hull Royal Infirmary academic departments commencing August 2026 for a period of 6 months initially, extendable to a total of 12 months depending on satisfactory performance. This post does not attract a National Training Number. The post will suit an F2 doctor or a doctor within one year following completion of Foundation Training who wishes to broaden his/her academic skill base and to gain further experience in research.
This post is primarily designed to allow the successful candidate to focus on academic development and work towards an MSc, MD or PhD.
This appointment is an excellent opportunity to gain experience of clinical research in a highly active research organisation. The Clinical Research Fellow will work in their chosen clinical specialty and design, implement and deliver a research proposal under academic and clinical supervision.
