Personal Assistant (Kirkintilloch) – GCIL ED KS/RC/1.26
I am looking for a female Personal Assistant who can support me with domestic, personal and social assistance
with similar interests to my own.
I am a 24 year old young adult female
with a learning disability and complex needs.
Your role is to enable me to maintain my physical and mental wellbeing, be independent and participate in all activities of daily living
Including assisting me with some light household duties.
You must be a good communicator who is emotionally reliable.
I also need someone who is punctual and a good timekeeper.
Previous experience of support in a care setting is desirable but not essential.
4-5 hours per week
Saturday or Sunday
Plus cover for other members of my support team will be available
Can be flexible, (4-to-5hours per week at the weekend plus additional hours available mid week).
Can be discussed at interview.
Hourly Rate: £14.00 per hour
Driving license preferred but not essential
*Please be aware household has pets
Please note this role will require PVG Scheme Membership or Scheme Update

GCIL East Dunbartonshire is part of Glasgow Centre for Inclusive Living (GCIL), which is an established Disabled People's Organisation, with many years of experience assisting people to maximise their preferred support needs.
