Location: Gloucester / M5 Corridor Salary: £65,000 – £75,000 (Negotiable Base + Executive Bonus + Benefits) Reference: ADPM/GLOS/26

Opportunity Overview

Stafford Lawrence is partnering with a prestigious multidisciplinary consultancy to appoint a strategic leader for their Gloucester office. This is a high-impact appointment for a Project Management specialist tasked with leading and developing the regional service line.




We are specifically seeking a candidate with a mixed-sector consultancy background and the niche expertise required to manage complex land development projects within the Gloucestershire market.

Key Requirements for the Associate Director PM Project Management

Status: Chartered status is mandatory (MRICS, MCIOB, or MAPM).

Strategic Land Expertise: Proven experience in programmes involving material movement and strategic land is essential.

Developer Liaison: A track record of supporting or working directly with housing developers.

Consultancy Background: A mixed-sector background with significant experience in a professional Construction Consultancy environment.

Technical Mastery: Expert knowledge of NEC, JCT, and ICC contract suites, acting as a point of authority on contract administration.

Software: Proficiency in project scheduling tools (Asta Powerproject or MS Project).



The Role: Leadership & Delivery

Service Leadership: Take full ownership of the PM service line, providing high-quality client-facing consultancy at both pre- and post-contract stages.

Strategic Growth: Utilize local market knowledge and your professional network to identify new opportunities and lead regional business development initiatives.

Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary interface for complex, multi-stakeholder projects, ensuring delivery on time, budget, and quality.

Mentorship: Play a pivotal role in the professional development of the existing team, fostering a culture of technical excellence.

The Gloucestershire Package for the Associate Director PM

Base Salary: £65,000 – £75,000 (Negotiable).

Bonus: Competitive, performance-related bonus scheme.

Annual Leave: 30 days holiday + Bank Holidays.
