We are seeking a Business Administrator to provide essential administrative support to operational teams, ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of day-to-day contract management activities.

This role plays a key part in maintaining accurate systems, supporting staff processes, and delivering timely, reliable administrative services.

Job Description

We are looking for someone who is organised, detail-focused, and confident working independently, with strong Excel and general IT skills.

The Business Administrator will work closely with operational and People & Culture teams, supporting a wide range of administrative and system-based activities.

Key Responsibilities

Manage Time & Attendance (T&A) processes, ensuring data accuracy, user access management, and processing emergency payments.

Raise and manage purchase orders, support invoicing, and coordinate ordering of supplies such as chemicals and consumables.

Coordinate DBS checks, subcontractor administration, and site-related administrative tasks.

Support reporting activities and assist with e-learning and Learning Management System (LMS) administration.

Maintain accurate records across internal systems and support general system administration.

Carry out printing, posting, and document preparation, including letters, reports, and menus.

Respond to employee queries and provide administrative support across People & Culture activities.

Ensure administrative tasks are completed accurately, on time, and in line with required processes.

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and confidence using IT systems.

Previous administrative experience within an office-based environment.

Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask.

Effective communication skills with the ability to manage a range of stakeholders.

Proven experience in data entry and administrative processes.

Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.

Collaborative team player with a positive approach to relationship building.
