A successful and inclusive secondary school in Birmingham is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Science Teacher or Early Career Teacher (ECT) to join its dedicated Science faculty from September 2026.

The school is looking for a motivated individual who can inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4 through engaging and creative science teaching. Applications are welcomed from specialists in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics, as well as strong general Science teachers and ECTs looking to begin their career in a supportive environment.

What's the role?

The successful candidate will:

Deliver engaging and well-structured Science lessons across KS3 and KS4
Encourage curiosity, experimentation, and independent thinking
Support students of varying abilities to achieve their full potential
Use assessment effectively to track progress and inform teaching
Contribute positively to the wider school community and enrichment activities

What are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who:

Holds QTS or is on track to achieve Qualified Teacher Status
Has a degree in a Science-related subject(2:1 or above)
Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and classroom practice
Be passionate about inspiring young people through science education
Have excellent communication and organisational skills
Bring enthusiasm, creativity, and a commitment to high standards
