We are currently recruiting for a Production Operative to join a busy and fast-paced manufacturing business based in Poole.
This is an excellent opportunity for a career-minded individual who enjoys hands-on work, thrives in a varied environment, and takes pride in producing high-quality work.
This role would suit someone with previous production, assembly, finishing, or manufacturing experience who is looking to develop within a growing business.
Key Responsibilities for the Production Operative role:
- Operating and maintaining guillotines safely and efficiently
- Assembling products using heat bending and riveting techniques
- Packing completed orders ready for dispatch
- Monitoring stock levels and preparing weekly top-up order lists
- Supporting other areas of production when required
- Using the Pace ERP system to locate and move orders
The Ideal Candidate for the Production Operative role:
- Previous experience within production, assembly, manufacturing, or finishing environments
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately at pace
- Proactive and flexible approach to work
- Good organisational skills and ability to manage workload effectively
- Positive attitude with willingness to learn and support the wider team
