Location: Walsall, WS9 area
Pay: £14.69 per hour
Working hours: 4 on / 4 off | Rotating Days & Nights

Smart Solutions are currently recruiting for a Mobile Plant Operative to join our client at their modern PET recycling facility based in Aldridge.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced plant operator to join a well-established and growing recycling operation offering ongoing, full-time work.
The Role:
Operating mobile plant machinery including:
Loading Shovel
Telehandler
FLT (Forklift Truck)
Supporting the processing and movement of PET recycling materials
Carrying out routine machinery checks and reporting defects
Maintaining safe and clean working areas
Following all health, safety, and environmental procedures
Working collaboratively with the wider operations team to achieve daily production targets
Working Hours:
4 on / 4 off rotating shift pattern
Days: 07:00 – 19:00
Nights: 19:00 – 07:00
Pay Rate:
£14.69 per hour
Overtime available depending on business needs
Requirements:
Valid FLT, Telehandler, and Loading Shovel licences
Previous experience operating mobile plant machinery
Ability to work 12-hour rotating day and night shifts
Strong awareness of health & safety procedures
Reliable and hardworking attitude
