Hazel Tree Education are currently recruiting for three committed and resilient Learning Support Assistants to join a secondary school in Liverpool on a full-time basis ASAP until Christmas.
The successful candidates will be supporting students within the classroom and on a 1:1 basis where required. This role would suit individuals who are strong, adaptable, patient, and passionate about supporting young people within education.
The school is looking for staff who can build positive relationships with students, support behaviour management, and encourage engagement with learning.
Key responsibilities include:
Supporting students within lessons and around the school environment
Providing 1:1 and small group support where required
Assisting with behaviour management and emotional regulation
Working closely with teaching and pastoral staff
Creating a positive and supportive learning environment
Requirements:
Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or be willing to obtain a new one
Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable
Strong communication and behaviour management skills
Flexible and proactive approach
Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
Commitment to supporting students with additional needs
