Hours: 08:30 - 15:30 | SEN School
We are seeking a caring and committed Specialist Education & Care Assistant to support pupils with complex needs within a structured SEN school environment. This role combines educational support with essential daily care, helping pupils access learning, develop independence, and thrive in a safe and supportive setting.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting pupils in line with their Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs)
- Assisting with communication development and emotional regulation strategies
- Providing personal care support where required
- Working collaboratively with teaching staff, therapists, and wider support teams
- Helping to maintain a safe, structured, and nurturing learning environment
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence
- GCSEs in English and Maths (Grade C/4 or above, or equivalent)
- A compassionate, patient, and resilient approach to supporting children with additional needs
