Summary
GR Employment Ltd is recruiting for a Courier Driver on behalf of one of our customers in the Ise Valley Industrial Estate, the Wellingborough area
The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily delivery and collection of shipments to and from customers. This role is essential in upholding the company’s values and ethos, delivering service with speed, passion, and a can-do attitude.
You will be expected to provide excellent customer service, demonstrating flexibility and the ability to work well under pressure.
We’re looking for reliable and enthusiastic individuals to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone seeking consistent work with a bit of flexibility built in.
Shift pattern:
Monday to Saturday: 6 AM start to finish
Break: 30-minute unpaid break
Hourly Rate: £13.00 per hour
Job Responsibilities
Planning your delivery route efficiently
Loading and unloading heavy items
Scanning items
Delivering goods to customers on time and in a professional manner
Making customer calls to ensure deliveries and collections are completed on time
Communicating with the customer if any boxes or goods are damaged
Completing all relevant job paperwork accurately
Briefing your route to your driver’s mate at the start of the day
Debriefing at the end of the day to ensure all tasks are completed
Working alongside a driver’s mate who will assist you throughout the day
Job Qualifications
Full UK driving licence, max 6 points
Courier experience would be preferred, but not essential
