A welcoming primary school in Hulme is seeking a committed SEN Behaviour Support Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis.

This rewarding role involves supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and behavioural challenges, helping them to engage positively with learning and develop both socially and emotionally within the school environment.

The Role:
- Providing 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN and behavioural needs
- Supporting pupils with emotional regulation and behaviour management strategies
- Encouraging engagement and participation in classroom activities
- Building positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents
- Assisting the class teacher in creating a safe, supportive and inclusive environment
- Promoting pupil confidence, independence and wellbeing

The Ideal Candidate:
- Experience working with children with SEN, SEMH or behavioural needs
- Calm, patient and resilient approach
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build positive and trusting relationships with pupils
- Previous school, care, youth work or support work experience is desirable
