At Dimensions, you're not just clocking in for a shift — you're stepping into a role where your presence brings comfort, reassurance, and dignity to the people we support. As a Waking Night Support Worker, you'll be part of a team that believes in purpose, belonging, and genuine human connection.

We're proud to be recognised as a Great Place to Work 2026 — our eighth consecutive year — and it's all thanks to our incredible colleagues who live our values every day.

What you'll be doing

You'll work across two welcoming homes — one in Kinson and one in Broadstone — supporting adults aged 30s to 60s with learning disabilities and autism.

Every night, you'll help create a safe, calm, and comforting environment for the people we support.
Your role will include:

- Carrying out regular “keeping safe checks” to ensure everyone feels secure and comfortable.

- Maintaining a clean, hygienic space so that the environment is welcoming and safe.

- Recording important information using our easy-to-use IT systems - from support plans to health and safety logs - so we can provide the best care possible.

- Creating a therapeutic, reassuring atmosphere that promotes wellbeing throughout the night.

- Supporting people to enjoy their late evenings or nights in ways that matter to them.

- Providing personal care when needed, always with dignity and respect.

About you
We're looking for someone who brings compassion, reliability, and a genuine desire to make a difference. You'll thrive in this role if you:

- Care deeply about people and want to help create safe, positive nights for those who need support.

- Value inclusion and respect, treating everyone with dignity and kindness.

- Stay calm and reassuring, even when things feel challenging - your presence makes a difference.

- Enjoy working independently but also feel part of a team that shares the same purpose.

- Are comfortable using technology to keep accurate records and follow support plans.

- Can provide personal care when needed, always with empathy and understanding.

- Bring flexibility and reliability, knowing that your role is essential to someone's wellbeing.
