Job Title: Project Manager - Electrical Bias
Job Type: Contract or Permanent
IR35 Status: Inside IR35 (Umbrella) or Permanent
Location: Hartlepool, North East
Start Date: ASAP, subject to clearance
Duration: 12-month contract or permanent opportunity
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Working Pattern: 5 days per week onsite - no remote working

Clearance Requirements
Candidates must either:
* Already hold CTC or SC Clearance, or
* Be eligible and willing to obtain clearance

Qualifications & Experience
* Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or similar discipline preferred
* HNC/HND may be considered where supported by strong relevant experience
* APM or PRINCE2 qualification essential
* Ideally 5+ years' project management experience within complex engineering environments
* Full project lifecycle experience from concept through to handover
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
* Experience managing risk, programme, cost, and quality
* Ability to resolve conflict and manage challenging project environments

Technical Background Required
Candidates must have a strong electrical background, specifically within:
* Electrical Power Distribution
* National Grid / Power Distribution projects
* Electrical testing and installation works


Role Responsibilities
* Delivering electrical infrastructure projects safely, on time, and within budget
* Developing and executing project delivery strategies
* Managing project risks and mitigation plans
* Ensuring compliance with safety, quality, environmental, and regulatory standards
* Maintaining project schedules and cost baselines
* Leading stakeholder engagement internally and externally
* Supporting safe project delivery within highly regulated environments
