Looking for a dispensing role where you can actually enjoy your day?
We’re a friendly independent opticians in Mapperley, Nottingham looking for an upbeat and personable Dispensing Optician to join our small team on a part-time basis.
If you enjoy building genuine relationships with patients, love stylish eyewear, and prefer a relaxed pace over conveyor-belt testing, we’d love to hear from you.
Hours
* Thursdays & Fridays: 9am–5pm
* 30 minute unpaid lunch break
* Alternate Saturdays: 9am–1pm
Salary
£28,000–£33,000 pro rata depending on experience.
Newly qualified Dispensing Opticians are welcome to apply.

You’ll mainly be:
* Dispensing spectacles
* Helping patients choose frames and lenses
* Adjustments, repairs and collections
* Carrying out spectacle checks

We use Optinet Flex and order through Zeiss and Hoya.
Our frame range includes brands such as:
* Boss
* Jaguar
* Ted Baker
* Kate Spade
* Wolf
with frames ranging from £59–£249.
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
* Friendly and approachable
* Positive and upbeat
* Organised and reliable
* Confident working independently
* Passionate about great patient care and eyewear
Experience in an independent practice would be great, but attitude and personality are just as important to us.
