Summary
We are looking to appoint a committed, hardworking and enthusiastic individual to the role of Teaching Assistant to start as soon as possible. The role will include working 1:1 with children with special educational needs and/or social and emotional difficulties.
The position is for 32.5 hours per week during term time plus 1 week for training days (39 weeks total per year).
The successful candidate must:
Have previous experience of working with primary age children.
Have a recognised level 3 teaching assistant qualification or equivalent.
Be caring, patient and supportive with a positive attitude.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.The ability to create a positive and supportive learning environment.A strong work ethic and a commitment to professional development.Have the ability to work well within a team and when using their own initiative.
