Are you a patient, caring and committed SEN Teaching Assistant looking to start a new role in September where you can genuinely make a difference?

We are working with a well-resourced and highly supportive SEN school in Enfield that caters for both primary and secondary-aged pupils. They are looking to appoint a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their specialist provision from September.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a school where pupil wellbeing, personalised support and long-term development are at the heart of everything they do.

The school supports pupils with a range of additional needs, including:
- Autism (ASC)
- ADHD
- Speech and Language needs
- Sensory processing difficulties
- Global developmental delay
- Complex learning needs

Students benefit from structured routines, tailored learning programmes and a nurturing, consistent environment that supports both learning and personal development.
- Providing 1:1 and small group support across primary and secondary classes
- Supporting communication, emotional regulation and engagement in learning
- Following EHCP targets and individual support plans
- Assisting with personal care where required
- Working closely with teachers, SENCOs and external professionals
- Helping maintain a calm, structured and positive learning environment
- Encouraging independence, confidence and social development
- Experience supporting children or young people with SEN, ASD, ADHD or complex needs
- Calm, patient and resilient approach
- Comfortable working across both primary and secondary age groups
- Confident supporting non-verbal or limited communication pupils
- Willing to support personal care where needed
- Strong team player with a proactive attitude
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

Both experienced SEN Teaching Assistants and strong mainstream TAs looking to move into a specialist setting are encouraged to apply.
