University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust is the principal provider of acute hospital services for the residents of Derby, Burton upon Trent and surrounding areas including South Staffordshire, South Derbyshire and North West Leicestershire.
The Trust serves a population of approximately 960,000 people and is committed to delivering high quality patient care.
There is a wide range of exciting roles in our paediatric services on the Royal Derby Hospital and Queens Hospital-Burton.
We have both full time and part time opportunities available.

On the first line of your personal statement clearly indicate in your supporting information the date you will be qualifying, and which site(s) you would like to be considered for along with which clinical area that you are interested in working in.

We pride ourselves on providing excellent support to our newly registered nurses by offering a comprehensive preceptorship programme, which aims to facilitate the transition of the student nurse to the role of qualified practitioner by supporting the development of essential knowledge and skills. Our preceptorship programme is well established and successful: we guide and support all Newly Qualified Nurse’s and ensure you have a structured period of transition to support you throughout your career.
