Are you a passionate and dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference in a child’s education?

We are currently recruiting for a committed SEND TA to join a welcoming and inclusive school in the London Borough of Newham. This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils with additional needs and help them thrive in a supportive learning environment.

The Role:

• Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEND
  
• Support children with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and speech & language needs
  
• Work alongside the class teacher and SENCO to implement EHCP targets
  
• Adapt learning materials to suit individual needs and abilities
  
• Support pupils with emotional regulation and behaviour management
  
• Encourage independence, confidence, and engagement in learning

    The Ideal Candidate:
    • Experience working with children with SEND
      
    • A patient, nurturing, and resilient approach
      
    • Strong communication and teamwork skills
      
    • Understanding of safeguarding and behaviour management
      
    • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to obtain one)
      

      This role is ideal for individuals with experience as a Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, Support Worker, or Youth Worker who are passionate about supporting children with additional needs.
