Summary

Are you an experienced housing professional with a passion for delivering high-quality services and leading frontline teams?

We are seeking a Tenancy Services Manager to lead the operational delivery of tenancy management, income collection, and neighbourhood services across our housing portfolio. This is a critical role at the heart of our frontline service, where strong leadership, sound judgement, and a commitment to excellence will have a direct impact on tenants and communities.



About South Holland District Council

South Holland District Council is a council landlord based in South Lincolnshire managing 4,000 properties including 1,000 Sheltered Housing homes. Rated C2 by the Regulator of Social Housing in 2025, with a transformation programme focused on ongoing service improvement to deliver high-quality housing services.



About the role

You will provide visible leadership across frontline housing services, ensuring consistent, high-quality delivery while supporting teams to manage complex cases and deliver sustainable tenancy outcomes.

Reporting into the Housing Neighbourhood Operations Manager, you will:

Drive service performance and deliver against key KPIs
Oversee complex or escalated cases, ensuring consistent and proportionate decision-making
Use data, KPIs and insight to monitor and improve service delivery
Lead, coach and develop staff, creating a high-performing and accountable team culture
Ensure services are compliant, well-documented and audit-ready


What you’ll bring

You will be a confident and credible housing professional with strong operational leadership experience. You will bring:

Proven experience in tenancy management, income collection and neighbourhood services
The ability to lead, motivate and performance manage frontline teams
Strong knowledge of safeguarding, ASB and tenancy enforcement
Excellent communication, organisational and decision-making skills
A customer-focused, solutions-driven approach to service delivery
