As a large teaching hospital we operate a weekend, evening and Bank Holiday service in our inpatient dispensaries. You will be required to work these on a rotational basis. What you will bring to the role This is a varied role where you will be able to use your time management skills to ensure a smooth workflow of prescriptions through the dispensary as well as maintaining and managing accurate records for clinical trials. Day-to-day you will provide a variety of pharmacy support duties including stock control, labelling, assembly, preparation, dispensing, receipt and distribution of medicines. In addition, you will work closely with the aseptics team to ensure preparation worksheets are recorded and filed in a timely manner. Experience in clinical trials would be an advantage however is not a requirement as all necessary training will be provided and we will support you through a structured learning pathway.
