Crynodeb

Connect Appointments is recruiting an Equine and Farm Clinical Director based in Dundee. A senior leadership role offering genuine autonomy, a salary of £62,500 to £75,000, and the rare opportunity to shape the future of an established veterinary practice rather than simply managing it.

This is a hands-on clinical leadership position with a team of four to five vets, supported by a wider veterinary group with the infrastructure to back your vision. If you're an experienced equine and farm vet who wants real influence over how a department is run, this is worth a conversation.

What's on offer?

  • Full-time permanent position
  • £62,500 to £75,000 per annum dependent on experience
  • Practice vehicle available for personal use
  • Paid RCVS fees, two additional professional memberships and VDS cover included
  • £1,750 CPD allowance with 5 CPD days and funded support for further qualifications
  • Structured leadership development pathway
  • 6.4 weeks holiday including bank holidays, plus your birthday off
  • 1:5 on-call rota with protected time off after nights, a half-day every week and Monday off following weekend on-call
  • Health Shield wellbeing and health benefit package

As an Equine and Farm Clinical Director, your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and mentoring a team of four to five Equine and Farm vets
  • Driving business development and maintaining service quality across the department
  • Working closely with Small Animal Clinical Directors and the Practice Manager on wider practice strategy
  • Identifying opportunities to innovate and expand the services provided within the department

To be considered as an Equine and Farm Clinical Director, you will need:

  • MRCVS registration with significant experience in equine and farm animal medicine
  • Proven leadership ability with the drive to develop and inspire a clinical team
  • A strategic, forward-thinking approach to service development
  • A collaborative working style suited to a multi-branch practice environment
