Summary

Job Title: FLT Driver / Labourer (Counterbalance)
Location: Longton
Hours: Monday to Friday - 9pm - 6am
Rate of Pay - £14.80

Our client is a well-established manufacturing company based in Longton, providing high-quality metal cutting, bending and welding solutions to a wide range of clients. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced FLT Driver / Labourer to join their team.
The Role This is a varied position combining forklift truck operation with general labouring duties to support the production and warehouse teams. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring materials and finished products are moved safely and efficiently throughout the site.
Key Responsibilities

- Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Moving raw materials and finished goods around the site
- Assisting with goods in and goods out
- Supporting production teams with general labouring duties
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Requirements

- Valid Counterbalance FLT licence (essential)
- Previous experience operating a forklift in a manufacturing environment
- Willingness to undertake manual handling and labouring tasks
- Good awareness of health and safety procedures
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
