KS2 Teacher – Part-time, long-term temporary and ongoing from June 2026

This KS2 Teacher role offers the opportunity to work part time within a supportive primary school setting on a long-term, ongoing basis. The KS2 Teacher will play a key role in delivering engaging, well-structured lessons that support pupils’ progress and well-being. This role is ideal for a KS2 Teacher seeking continuity, work-life balance, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact from June 2026 onwards.
Duties as KS2 Teacher:
- Plan and deliver engaging Key Stage 2 lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports learning and behaviour
- Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress, adapting teaching to meet individual needs
- Differentiate lessons to support pupils with a range of abilities
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum planning and consistency
- Maintain clear classroom routines and high expectations for behaviour
- Support pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development
- Provide constructive feedback to pupils to support progress and confidence
- Uphold safeguarding, welfare, and health and safety responsibilities at all times
Ideal KS2 Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Experience teaching in Key Stage 2
- Strong classroom management and organisational skills
- Ability to engage and motivate pupils of varying abilities
- Flexible and reliable approach to part-time teaching
- Willingness to commit to a long-term temporary and ongoing role
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
