Summary
Join Us and Help Shape Brighter Futures
At Depaul UK, we believe in people’s potential — and we take action every day to help unlock it. Whether you’re supporting young people directly or strengthening our organisation behind the scenes, your work will create real, lasting impact.
About the Role
Be there when it matters most. As a Night Young People Support Worker, you’ll play a vital role supporting young people aged 18–25 to stay safe, build confidence and move towards independent living. Working overnight in our Safestop service in Manchester, you’ll create a calm, supportive environment, respond proactively to risk, and build trusted relationships that help residents navigate some of their most challenging moments.
You’ll manage a small caseload of people with high-needs, delivering focused support planning, risk assessments and practical one‑to‑one and group interventions. You’ll work confidently with partner agencies, encourage engagement in education, training or employment, and involve young people in decisions about their lives and their community. Safeguarding, professional boundaries and care for the accommodation will be central to your practice.
We’re looking for someone experienced, compassionate and action‑orientated, with a strong understanding of homelessness, mental health and person‑centred support. In return, you’ll receive a thorough induction, reflective supervision and ongoing development within an inclusive organisation that believes in people’s potential—and backs that belief with meaningful support.
Please note that this job opportunity is offered as a full-time (37.5 hour per week), permanent role.
