At Longridge Hall Care Home, we’re seeking skilled and compassionate carers to join our afternoon team, working 2pm–8pm shifts, ideal for those wanting consistent part-time hours each week.

Longridge Hall is a warm and supportive home with standout features including a reminiscence lounge, chapel, and indoor sensory garden. Led by our longstanding Care Home Manager, Tracey—who has been with us for more than 10 years—you’ll be joining a team that truly values experience and high standards of care.

Key Responsibilities:

We’re looking for someone who can bring confidence, knowledge, and an experienced approach to person-centred care. In this role, you will:

Deliver high-quality, compassionate care based on individual needs
Support residents with personal care, mobility, and daily living tasks
Encourage independence and preserve dignity at all times
Assist with meals, hydration, and wellbeing routines
Build strong, supportive relationships with residents and families
Support afternoon engagement and activities
Keep accurate and detailed care records
Contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment

What We’re Looking For:

Prior experience as a Care Assistant or Support Worker
A strong understanding of person-centred care
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
A caring, professional, and reliable approach
The ability to commit to regular 2pm–8pm shifts
The ability to commute to Longridge
