ensuring exceptional standards are delivered for the enjoyment of visitors, tenants, and the family.
What you’ll do
As Head of Gardens & Landscape, you will be responsible for leading the day-to-day management and long-term vision of the estate’s

General responsibilities include:
* Leadership and team management – Lead, motivate, and develop the gardens and landscape team, ensuring high standards and
effective collaboration across the estate.

seasonal work, and supply of produce and flowers.

agreed standards.
* Visitor experience and collaboration – Work with the tourism and events teams to enhance access, support events, and improve
the visitor experience.
* Compliance and safety – Ensure health and safety compliance across all operations, including risk management, contractors, and
overall wellbeing.
What we are looking for

will bring energy, creativity, and a commitment to excellence.
The ideal candidate will:

* Demonstrate strong horticultural knowledge and an understanding of heritage landscapes and biodiversity.
* Have proven experience managing teams within a large estate, garden, or landscape setting.
* Have experience managing budgets, projects, and contractors.
* Be a confident communicator, able to build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
* Possess relevant qualifications in horticulture or demonstrate equivalent experience.
* Have a sound understanding of health and safety requirements.
You will be highly organised, professional, and committed to maintaining the estate’s reputation for quality and innovation.
What we offer
This is a unique opportunity to play a leading role in shaping one of the UK’s most iconic rural estates. You will work within a
supportive and collaborative environment, contributing to a business that values heritage, sustainability, and continuous
improvement.
