Role Overview and Responsibilities
Event Bar Staff are responsible for providing exceptional customer service at various events, including parties, concerts, and corporate functions. Staff must adhere to licensing regulations and health and safety standards at all times.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and professionally.
• Greet guests, take orders, and offer recommendations when appropriate.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar and surrounding areas.
• Monitor guest behaviour and refuse service when necessary, following legal guidelines.
• Handle cash and card payments accurately.
• Restock bar supplies and report shortages to supervisors.
• Work collaboratively with other event staff to ensure smooth service.
Skills and Qualifications
• Previous experience in hospitality or bar work is preferred but not essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
• Basic knowledge of drink preparation and bar hygiene standards.

Working Hours
Hours will vary depending on event schedules, with shifts typically during evenings and weekends. Overtime may be required during busy periods.
