RecruitED People are supporting a specialist autism school in Birmingham to recruit an experienced and resilient SEND Teacher to lead a highly complex class of pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC).
This role would suit a teacher who is passionate about inclusive education and has experience supporting pupils with significant communication, interaction and learning needs.
The successful candidate will:
• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Have experience teaching pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC).
• Be confident delivering highly differentiated and personalised learning.
• Have experience working with EHCP outcomes and multi-disciplinary teams.
• Be skilled in supporting pupils with communication difficulties and sensory needs.
• Demonstrate resilience, patience and a commitment to achieving positive outcomes for every child.
• Work effectively alongside Teaching Assistants, therapists and families.
Experience within a special school, autism provision, resource base or specialist SEND setting would be highly desirable.
