These flexible opportunities are ideal for PE Teachers who enjoy variety and want to make a positive impact across different school settings. You will be supporting pupils across multiple schools, delivering engaging and high-quality Physical Education lessons while promoting healthy lifestyles and positive participation in sport.
Duties as PE Teacher:
- Deliver engaging PE lessons using provided plans across a range of sports and activities
- Lead practical sessions safely indoors and outdoors, following health and safety guidance
- Promote physical fitness, teamwork, and positive attitudes towards sport
- Adapt activities to meet the needs of pupils with differing abilities and confidence levels
- Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies
- Encourage resilience, cooperation, and inclusive participation
- Support extracurricular sports activities where required
- Assess and monitor pupil progress when needed
Ideal PE Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Strong subject knowledge in Physical Education and sport
- Confident leading practical lessons and managing active learning environments
- Effective classroom and behaviour management skills
- Ability to motivate and inspire pupils of mixed abilities
- Adaptable across different year groups and school environments
- Organised, professional, and enthusiastic about PE
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
