Summary
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of traffic management principles and be proficient in CAD software, though this is not essential and training will be offered to those who may be looking for a career change.
This role requires excellent organisational skills, the ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams and a commitment to ensuring safety and efficiency in all traffic Management related operations.
Responsibilities
• Develop and implement traffic management plans for projects, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Coordinate with project teams to assess traffic management requirements and propose effective solutions.
• Utilise design software such as AutoCAD,
• Conduct site assessments to identify potential traffic issues and recommend traffic management types.
• Collaborate with surveyors, colleagues and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of traffic systems into overall project designs.
Skills
• Proficiency in CAD is preferable.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and external parties.
• Detail-oriented mindset with strong organisational abilities to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices in traffic management is advantageous.
• Ability to create clear schematics that effectively communicate complex ideas visually.
