Duties of a MOT Technician:
- Servicing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of vehicles with precision and attention to detail
- Conducting MOT tests in accordance with legal requirements and manufacturer standards
- Performing diagnostics and fault finding using advanced, dealer-level equipment
- Ensuring all work is completed to the highest industry standards, first time every time
- Adhering to health and safety regulations and workshop procedures
- Supporting workshop colleagues through effective teamwork and communication
- Keeping work areas clean, organised, and efficient
- Continually developing technical skills through ongoing training programs as a MOT Technician
Requirements of a MOT Technician:
- Qualified Vehicle Technician with Level 3 (or equivalent) certification
- Valid MOT licence
- Strong diagnostic skills and a keen eye for detail
- Proven experience working in a busy workshop environment
- Reliable, professional, and committed to delivering quality workmanship
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Demonstrate a desire for long-term career development within the motor trade
