The FORGE Trust is a primary school led, multi-academy trust which was founded in September 2016 on the success of The Sir Donald Bailey Academy in Newark, Nottinghamshire.
There is a clear vision to provide the very best education for every pupil in our schools ensuring the quality of teaching is excellent and the environment for learning encourages all pupils to find their talent and succeed. We believe strongly in our mission to change the lives of these children.
Visits to both academies are warmly welcomed and encouraged.
Commitment to safeguarding
The Trustees of The Parkgate Academy are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and applicants will undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers. The role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and therefore candidates will be subject to an enhanced DBS certificate, the role is engaged in regulated activity and will therefore require a children’s barred list check. Shortlisted Applicants will be required to complete a self-disclosure. The trust welcomes applications from all, irrespective of gender, marital status, disability, race, age or sexual orientation.
