Summary
Production Supervisor
Location: CV2, Coventry
Pay: £16.92 per hour
Hours:
- Standard shift: 07:00-15:00
- Must be flexible when required (e.g. 08:00-16:00)
We are recruiting an experienced Production Supervisor to lead a team of fabrication operators within a busy production environment. This role is purely production-focused and does not involve warehouse management.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and supervise fabrication operators, including managing ER-related issues
- Ensure all work is completed in line with agreed health & safety and quality standards
- Oversee production operations, ensuring people and materials are in the right place at the right time
- Ensure quality checks are carried out, with actions followed through
- Troubleshoot machinery and product issues alongside the team
- Drive continuous improvement on the workshop floor
- Ensure production targets are met and take action when performance falls behind
- Manage consumable stock levels and ensure timely reordering
- Proven experience in a production supervisory role (essential)
- Manufacturing or fabrication background
- Strong people management skills, including ER matters
- Hands-on and proactive approach
- Good understanding of production health, safety and quality standards
