The Best Connection has a fantastic opportunity to recruit a number of production operatives to join our established client on a temp to perm basis after a successful trial period.
The client specialises in building wooden structures for various industries. They are willing to invest time and training into individuals who have basic hand and power tool experience but show a willingness to learn and can be punctual and reliable.
The company is based in Hixon so you must be able to drive or live locally (within 5 miles) as public transport is not an option so walk or push bike if local.
The Hours of work are attractive: Mon - Friday 08:00 - 16:15.
Production Operative
Duties:
This role involves operating various machinery, using hand and power tools, building structures of drawings and checking quality.
You will be on your feet all day and this can be a physical job at times.
The environment is in a warehouse but temperature does fluctuate depending on the conditions outside.
Duties:
- Operate and monitor production machinery and equipment to ensure efficient workflow.
- Conduct routine inspections and perform basic troubleshooting of machinery.
- Use hand tools and power tools for assembly, adjustments, and maintenance tasks.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area to meet health and safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
You will be required to attend an interview on site before a start being agreed.
