Registered Manager – Children’s Residential Home
Swadlincote (DE12) | £45,000 – £55,000 | Full-time, Permanent
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Registered Manager or a confident Deputy Manager ready to take the next step in their career to lead an Ofsted-rated “Good” children’s residential home.

You will be responsible for the overall management of the home, ensuring high standards of care, safeguarding, and compliance with all regulatory and Ofsted requirements, while promoting a safe, stable, and nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the day-to-day running of the children’s home
Ensure high-quality care planning and delivery for young people
Maintain full compliance with Ofsted and safeguarding regulations
Manage, support, and develop a staff team through supervision and training
Build strong relationships with children, families, and external professionals
Oversee record keeping, reporting, and service improvement
Promote a positive, child-focused culture within the home
About You:
Minimum 1–2 years’ experience in a Deputy Manager or Manager role within children’s residential care
Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (essential)
Level 5 Leadership & Management (or willingness to work towards)
Strong leadership skills with a calm and resilient approach
Good understanding of safeguarding and Ofsted standards
Passionate about improving outcomes for children and young people
