We’ve got loads of immediate work available at our client, Royal Mail in Carlisle, where you will enjoy easy runs with minimal load interaction, weekly pre-booked shifts and great pay rates. The work involves trunking mail and parcels between Royal Mail depot’s nationwide.
We offer a wide range of shift options - operating 7 days a week with day and night start times available whether you're looking for occasional days, part-time hours, weekend work, or a full-time schedule, we can tailor shifts to suit your availability. This is ongoing, year-round agency work with one of the UK’s most trusted brands
Most drivers average 10-12 hours per shift. Bookings are allocated every Thursday for the following week, including start and planned finish time, helping you maintain a healthy work life balance.
Pay Rates:
• Monday to Sunday Days depending on start time £20.82 to £21.83
• Monday to Sunday Nights depending on finish time £21.57 to £23.85
• All rates are PAYE, and holiday pay is accrued separately
• Weekly pay every Friday
Requirements:
• Valid Class 1 HGV C+E licence
• Driver CPC and Tachograph Card
• Minimum 2 years of recent HGV driving experience required
• No more than 5 penalty points (minor offences only)
• DBS check completed as part of the registration (no cost to you)
